The directory on the HPSS servers for the configuration files is: /hpssconfig/config With changing to this directory the automount will be active. The mount will be unmounted after 3 minutes without access.
Configuration on the HPA server (172.18.95.59)
- the directory for the config files was created: /export/HPSS
- The file /etc/exports was modified:
/export/HPSS 172.18.95.0/22(rw,no_subtree_check,sync,wdelay)
- nfs-utils was updated with yum
- nfs was startetd with systemctl start nfs.service
Configuration on the HPSS nodes
- autofs was installed
yum install autofs
for the configuration the following files was changed:
/etc/auto.master
/hppsconfig /etc/auto.hpssconfig
/etc/auto.hpssconfig
config -fstype=nfs 172.18.95.59:/export/HPSS
