A downtime or an service incident will be announced to the user via:

In case of a planned downtime choose:

-> Change Management on the right hand side

-> then RFC erstellen

In case of an incicent choose:

-> Incident Management

 bwDataArchive downtime notification
 Dear scientists, data managers and customers of the bwDataArchive Service,
 due to important maintenance work the archive storage system HPSS at
 KIT/SCC will be unavailable for the following time period:
   Downtime: Tuesday, January 16th, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
 During that time you won't be able to access your archived data or to
 transfer data to the archive. Please ensure that no data transfers are
 running by this time. All opened SFTP / GridFTP sessions will be stopped
 by the bwDataArchive team.
 We will inform you as soon as the system is online again.
